Terms and conditions of sale

1. Seller and scope

These terms govern the sale of online Valorant coaching services by SvkCoaching, French sole trader (contact@svkcoaching.fr), hereinafter "the Coach", to any person ordering through svkcoaching.fr, hereinafter "the Client".

Placing an order implies full acceptance of these terms, which the Client confirms by ticking the dedicated box before payment.

2. Services

SvkCoaching offers remote coaching sessions for the video game Valorant, held by voice call with screen sharing on Discord: single sessions, session packs for individual players, and monthly subscriptions for teams.

The content of each plan (number of sessions, duration, inclusions) is described on the pricing page at the time of the order.

Coaching is an obligation of means: the Coach commits to providing quality advice and follow-up, but cannot guarantee any rank, result or performance, which depend on the Client's own practice.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in euros. VAT not applicable, article 293 B of the French General Tax Code.

Payment is made online by card or any method offered at checkout, through Stripe. The Coach never has access to the Client's banking details. An invoice is issued for each payment and remains available in the Client's account.

Promotion codes may be offered; they cannot be combined unless stated otherwise.

4. Session credits

Each purchase adds session credits to the Client's account. Credits from a single session or a pack are valid for 90 days from the purchase date; unused credits expire after that period.

Team subscriptions grant a number of sessions per monthly period. Sessions not used during a period do not carry over to the next one.

Credits are personal (or attached to the team for subscriptions) and cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash, except where the law provides otherwise.

5. Booking, cancellation and no-show

Sessions are booked on the open slots shown on the website, at least 2 hours in advance. For teams, only the captain can book.

The Client can cancel a session up to 24 hours before it starts from their account: the credit is returned automatically. A cancellation later than 24 hours, or an absence of more than 15 minutes after the start time, counts the session as completed.

If the Coach has to cancel or move a session, the Client is notified and the credit is returned, or a new slot is offered.

In case of a technical problem attributable to the Coach, the lost time is made up or the session is rescheduled.

6. Team subscription

The team subscription is taken out by the captain. It is monthly and renews automatically at the end of each period, until cancelled.

The captain can cancel at any time, online and in a few clicks, from their account (Credits and invoices > Invoices and payment methods). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period; no further payment is taken afterwards.

Any price change applies only to the following periods and is announced beforehand; the Client may cancel before it applies.

7. Right of withdrawal

A consumer Client has 14 days from the purchase to withdraw, without giving any reason (articles L221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code).

By booking a session within this period, the Client expressly asks for the service to start before the end of the withdrawal period. Under article L221-28 1°, the right of withdrawal is lost for sessions fully performed. Under article L221-25, if the Client withdraws after some sessions were performed, they pay only for the sessions performed; unused sessions are refunded.

To withdraw, the Client sends a clear statement to contact@svkcoaching.fr, for example using the model form below. The refund is made within 14 days, using the original payment method.

8. Client obligations

The Client must have a working Discord account, a stable internet connection and a microphone. VOD links provided must be the Client's own games or games they are entitled to share.

The Client agrees to behave respectfully. The Coach may end a session, without refund, in case of insults, harassment or any behaviour contrary to Riot Games' terms of use.

The advice, documents and action plans provided are for the Client's personal use and may not be resold or redistributed.

9. Minors

A minor Client may only place an order with the prior consent of their parent or legal guardian, who is then deemed to have accepted these terms. Using Discord requires the minimum age set by Discord's own terms.

10. Liability

The Coach is not liable for interruptions due to Discord, the Client's equipment or connection, Riot Games' servers, or any event of force majeure.

SvkCoaching is not affiliated with Riot Games. Any sanction applied by Riot Games to the Client's account is outside the Coach's responsibility.

11. Personal data

Personal data is processed as described in the privacy policy available on the website.

12. Complaints

Any complaint should be sent to contact@svkcoaching.fr. The Coach replies within 15 days and looks for an amicable solution.

13. Applicable law

These terms are governed by French law. Failing an amicable solution, the competent French courts have jurisdiction, subject to the mandatory rules protecting consumers.
